About Me!

Hey there! My name is Whitney and I am a witch in the Midwest!

  

This blogs purpose to be fun (what fun would it be if it wasn't?)  and informational. I will publish 2 posts a month. A general outline is going to be some type of a pagan exercise. Like a spell-a-day, learning herbs their properties, grounding exercises, etc for the first post. The second post will be a follow up of that exercise. If length permits, meaning if the particular pagan subject I am talking about doesn't take up a whole page, I will also add in some crafts, maybe some recipes, general life updates.

I am currently 25 years old living with my boyfriend, two dogs, and two cats. Jeez. I love to read, bake, cook, hang out with my mom, go on walks especially in historical districts and nature reserves, play xbox, watch family guy/big bang theory. I am interested in starting jewelry making and eventually resin. But that will have to wait to have a well ventilated area. I have battle depression without medicine after 16. And I'm doing a pretty damn good job!

I grew up in a Catholic household. I started questioning those beliefs around 11 years old. At 14 I discovered Wicca. I was very lucky to have an outstanding mother who didn't make my life difficult because of my beliefs.  After a few years I became agnostic while still studying Paganism, buying books here and there. I am now practicing witchcraft and just a plain old witch. No special titles. I  worship Hecate, Hera, and Hestia. Hecate being the main goddess.
